Just a really unfortunate experience. The first representative I worked with helped me begin the process as a walk in which was amazing. However; when I attempted to follow up and submitted requested documentation I couldn’t get a hold of her. I came in in person to submit the documents but she was with a client which is understandable. I asked the front desk if I could drop off the documents (on my phone unfortunately) but since she was with a client I wasn’t able to. The front desk lady didn’t offer to take a message on my behalf or troubleshoot in anyway my situation. I continued to inquire because she was of little assistance. I asked when Carlotta would be free and she said a time but clarified that the call might go over. Which again is understandable. At this point she still isn’t offering any further trouble shooting so now I am frustrated. At the point I ask if I can get Carlotta’s card again so that I can email her instead. The women sarcastically points to the correct card. At that point I am beyond irritated and snippy. I leave and email one or two documents on a Friday. I email the final document on a Sunday. Both times I kindly ask for the Acknowledgment of receipt of the documents. I never hear anything back from Carlotta. I call Monday because since our first meeting I hadn’t received or heard anything from this women. They say that she was out of the office. At that point I go in to cancel with this office. They transfer me to Laura Browning I believe who comes back shortly after and says it will be 600-700 for each tax return? That is the wildest thing I have ever heard. I literally have one form to submit for one of the years. So, how is one form costing 600-700 to file? If you didn’t want me as a customer or I did something to somehow offend or upset someone perhaps find another way to address it? I can’t say for certain that what happened but I am no accountant but the numbers aren’t adding up….. I went here because they had great reviews but my experience was unfortunately very poor. I am not sure what happened to have this outcome I wouldn’t have reached out several times if I had a responsive person. Again I didn’t receive any emails after our initial visit confirming anything or following up etc. when I did submit documents I never heard back. As far as the secretary when you are trying to trouble shoot something in a company and you don’t even work there it is frustrating. If the women would have just have better customer service skills and problem solving approaches then I would not have been irritated. As a customer I should not have been the one trying to explore and navigate solutions alone and there is a “employee” there that could help make it more seamless. It was an absolutely unsatisfactory experience. I hope that no one has to have the same one as me.

It was a professional environment. My tax adviser, Carlota, was courteous and knowledgeable. I look forward to working with her next year. The office was welcoming, not frenzied. Nancy at the front desk is a jewel in this organization.

My experience with H&R Block and mainly Judy Dudley is amazing. My 3rd or 4th year with her without any regrets. Also, the virtual process is very fast. I totally recommend.

My tax specialist, Walter Turchi, did a fantastic job with my tax return. He took his time during the process and patiently explained to met the technical terms I did not understand. He even referred to his colleagues when he needed to double check on the tricky parts of my tax return. His colleagues were also friendly and professional. I strongly recommend Walter and this H&R branch!
